Nokia Worlds biggest signpost
Just been taking a peek at this interesting installation from Nokia. The concept is a digital panel in the shape of arrow that is lifted 50 metres above London, by a crane of course! People on the street were then able to send text messages to the sign with their favorite places to visit, and the arrow would move to point to that location, clever arrow I here you say, it also provide the distance to the location you messaged!
The installation was streamed live to Nokia.com, where all the locations were synced with Nokias good things map. Very nice idea here from Nokia to promote their geo-localization for mobiles OVI Maps, and it certainly grabs a lot of attention from passersby.
