New Hovis Advert with Pendleton

I have a soft spot for the Hovis brand, Skive pitched for the digitial business in 2009 and I was very passionate about our time machine street concept! Alas we didn’t win, but was interested to see this. Oympic cycling gold medallist Victoria Pendleton has just filmed a TV advert  as part of her new three-year deal to be a brand ambassador for brown bread, interesting…

Victoria, recreates the great old advert where a boy pushes his bike and bread, up a hill. The original advert ran through the 1970s to the strains of a brass band parping the Largo from Dvorak’s Symphony No 9 in E minor, or as some call it, the ‘Hovis’.
The director of that original was Ridley Scott .

So grab a slice of scrumcious toast, and check out the advert
