Best Advertisement of the Decade

Wieden & Kennedy’s Honda “Cog” commercial was a true classic that defys gravity, it’s simply beautiful and i was rather surprised that Adweek awarded Honda’s “Grrrr” ad as Best Ad of the Decade?? Really Guys??

Grrr is by far my favorite spot of the decade. “Can hate be good?” That’s a damn inspiring message-as-cause. It’s exactly what advertising should be.

Cog, on the other hand, was just a beautifully executed ripoff of The Way Things Go. Exactly what I hate about advertising — the regurgitation of art into mainstream culture.
